What we do

Keysborough Learning Centre offers further education, leisure activities and support groups to those aged 15 years plus.  Everyone is made to feel welcome, our youngest participant is 15 years old and our oldest is 95 years young.  

To ensure everyone has access to our services all buildings have wheelchair access, fees are kept to a minimum and childcare is subsidised while parents are attending their classes (subject to vacancies).

Programs offered include: Computers and Business Skills – all levels from beginners onwards, MYOB Accounts Package, VCE English Units 1 & 2, English as a Second Language, Literacy and Basic Education, Arts & Crafts Social Activities and Support Programs. Browse through our courses.

The Keysborough Learning Centre delivers quality further education and training in a comfortable community environment. 

Our programs target:

• Vocational and workplace training
• Basic Education
• Assistance to those facing barriers to participation in the wider community
• Support to individual and families
• Assistance to those isolated in their home by providing childcare subsidies, low cost classes and activities, support for older men and women who have been at home for some time and anyone isolated due to illness (psychiatric, physical or emotional)

Nationally Accredited Training

KLC is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 3890) and provides Nationally Accredited Training, including Certificate I, II in General Education for Adults and Certificate II in Information Technology (Applications), Certificate III in Children’s Services, Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate II in Business, and similar courses. We pride ourselves on proving a professional and encouraging environment for students.

Teachers

KLC teachers have a wide range of  experience, skills, and commitment. Many have  completed Certification in Assessment and Workplace Training. Courses are conducted in an atmosphere of support and encouragement with class numbers kept small to ensure individual attention. If you have a skill you would like to share and you can communicate well with adults, please contact reception.
