 Do you need childcare to help you undertake training?

The Flexible Family Support Grant provides funding to enable learners to participate in learning where the cost of childcare is a barrier to participation.

Learners who are enrolled in Government subsidised pre-accredited or accredited training at a Learn Local organisation should ask staff for more information about the program.

The program is available to assist parents, carers or guardians of a child or children aged between 0–6 years and who are not yet enrolled at school and need occasional child care during class time.

If you are receiving the Commonwealth funded Child Care Benefit then you may be able to receive
top-up funding and if you are ineligible then funding can be used to help you pay your out of pocket costs.

Powerpoint Fundamentals [Intel]

Develop a Product Portfolio using Powerpoint.  Portfolios are often used in business and job scenarios to communicate about your projects, products or services.  In this course, you will create an electronic portfolio that can be presented to an audience.

Showcase - You will be introduced to presenting a portfolio of information using Powerpoint to a select audience including other course participants and your facilitator.  You will also get a chance to watch and listen to the presentation of your fellow participants in this course.

Using the Multimedia software, you can develop presentations on any subject, such as a project you have been working on.  (MS Powerpoint), using a digital camera and video camera, editing digital photos using Picasa Freeware package.  Includes Internet skills.
